RAIN connects immigrant families with accurate information about their legal rights, educational opportunities for undocumented students, and digital tools for small business owners. We bridge the gap between complex systems and the people who need to navigate them.
We are a student-run organization based in the Bay Area. We are not lawyers, but we are passionate advocates working to ensure our community has access to the resources they deserve. We prioritize accessibility, privacy, and simplicity.
RAIN began as a student initiative to support immigrant communities during times of uncertainty. We saw that accurate information about rights and resources was often hard to find or difficult to understand.
What started as distributing "Know Your Rights" cards has grown into a digital hub for the community. We realized that many immigrant-owned businesses were also being left behind in the digital age, so we started offering free help with basic websites and design.
Today, we continue to work as volunteers to keep this information current and support our neighbors. We believe that when one person knows their rights, the whole community becomes safer and stronger.
